The advertising/marketing icon, Leo Burnett, once said that creative people are involved people. Many of the ideas and concepts that go down on their blank piece of paper oftentimes come from their life experiences. So, we’d like to tell you a bit about our key team members…not only their background experience but their life experiences as well.
Steve Long
President
Steve is a graduate of The Central Academy of Commercial Art and cut his teeth in the marketing communications business with firms such as Bergen’s Advertising Art; Kircher, Helton & Collet Advertising; Wannamaker Advertising Art, Inc.; Long and Associates Advertising Art, Inc.; and OIA/Long Communications, Inc. And talk about life experiences! Steve has spent 30 years as a wrestling official for Ohio high schools and is a member of the Greater Cincinnati Wrestling Officials Association and past member of the South West Officials Association, Dayton, Ohio. Steve also likes golf, boxing and backpacking, but one of his favorite hobbies is spending time with his four children and seven grandchildren.
Heidi Long
Vice President
Heidi is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Her career has been shaped and influenced by working with some of the best in the business…Wanamaker Advertising Art, Inc.; Long & Associates Advertising Art, Inc.; OIA/Long Communications, Inc. Also no stranger to a variety of interesting life experiences and hobbies, Heidi’s hobbies and interests include: ballroom dancing; Pilates; yoga; Zumba; classical music; the performing arts and she also keeps busy, like Steve, with the children and grandchildren.
Amanda Long
Director of Operations
Denver, CO
Amanda, like Steve and Heidi, wears numerous hats including designer, desktop publisher, illustrator, and Web developer. Some of her many interests include: hanging out with her three fantastic children and her life partner and best friend, Jeff; gardening, cooking, painting, kenpo, hiking, reading, learning, and escaping to her mountain home in Westcliffe, CO whenever life permits.
